Meeting Jim Boggia... part 2...

This past Sunday the hubby and I went to Danbury, CT to see Duncan Sheik in concert (I did get to wave hello to him, to which he smiled and waved back, yay!). Duncan gave a rocking performance, as always. His two opening acts were equally awesome: Jim Boggia and David Poe.

Enough of that, let's get to the point.

After Jim's stellar performance, I went to the merch table and put myself on Jim's and Duncan's mailing lists. Then I noticed that Duncan's guitarist Gerry Leonard had his CDs for sale, so I went to get my wallet. When I came back, there was Jim at the merch table.

My first thought: Holy crap, Jim Boggia's right there!

So I screwed up some courage and introduced myself to him, telling him how great his set was and how I remembered him from the Northampton concert last June.

"Yeah, I remember," Jim said. "That was with Duncan too."

We talked for a few minutes, and in the end, I got his autograph and a smile (see below).

All in all, such a pleasure to meet and talk with him. I can't wait till I see him in concert again. ^_^

I actually talked to a celebrity last night.

Not a totally major celebrity, but a modest one. I made small talk with singer/rocker Jim Boggia last night... and got his autograph.

Man, I'm stoked.

I'll elaborate more later.
