I added a few new URLs to the links page (after the tokidoki.it link). Like I mentioned earlier, updating will progress very slowly.

Today out of sheer boredom, I checked out Classmates.com. You know, that site where you try to contact people from back in your school years? I recognized a few names of people who went to the same schools I did, and even emailed one of them. Wonder if she'll write back? That would totally kick major ass if she did.

I discovered a few days ago that my coworker Jane is a Duncan Sheik fan (yay!) She confronted me with the fact after she perused through my site (guess she saw the portrait I did or saw the link to his site). We were talking about how we'd do anything to meet the guy... he's hella fine, after all. (Yeah, we love his music too.)

I'm just glad someone shares my musical taste.

I did a bit of minor updating to the site, mostly just address changing and other crap. It's not much, but definitely a start.

And now for something totally unrelated...

I am addicted to The Sims 2.

For those of you who don't already know, The Sims 2 is a life simulation game. Like its predecessor The Sims (which I was also addicted to until The Sims 2 came out), it's the type of game that can totally draw you in-- next thing you know you're spending a good number of hours glued to your computer, downloading tons of add-ons like a madman, and perusing through hundreds of Sims fansites for amusing movies (yes, you can make movies in Sims 2).

Gameplay is quite simple. 1) Create a character. 2) Build a house for your character (or move them into a prefabricated house provided the character can afford it). If needed, use cheat codes. 3) Move aforementioned character into aforementioned house and pretty much control their life. Make it nice and comfortable, or a living hell. (Heh.)

Did I already mention you can make movies with The Sims 2? You won't believe the number of hilarious clips I've seen that other Sims freaks like me have come up with. I have witnessed a very clever spoof of the "Growing Pains" opening sequence that resulted in fits of uncontrollable giggling. My favorite Sims 2 movie site has got to be The Strangerhood (http://www.thestrangerhood.com), created by Rooster Teeth Productions. You may have heard of these guys from their redvsblue series, using Halo. Check out the episodes they've got so far, it's quite a laugh.

I'll stop here for now. There will be more later.

Happy New Year, guys! (This stated 13 days too late.)

Last you heard from me, I have just moved to the East Coast (In Arlington, MA) and have begun settling in. It's been what-- a little over four months now, so I thought it's high time I resurface and give you an update.

So here's pretty much what's going on:

- I'm still working for Starbucks. I successfully transferred into a store that's located in Harvard Square and am having a grand ol' time with my new coworkers, as well as my new manager. Words could not begin to describe what goes down at Church Street... it's something you're just going to have to come down and experience in person.

- Wedding plans are going pretty much forward. Joe and I are set to marry on the twenty-fourth of June this year in-- get this-- the Venetian in Las Vegas! I don't blame y'all for having a little envy, but we figured, hell why not? And no, Elvis will not be the officiant. So I apologize once again for updating pretty much sporadically these days. Planning a wedding is very time-consuming.

- Did I mention that I miss my family a lot? Especially since a few months ago, my mom had undergone open-heart surgery (yikes). Stuff like that not only scares me, but creeps me out. Anyway, she is recovering very well from the surgery, and all is right in the world again.

I'm at present enjoying life here in the Boston area. We've been getting quite a bit of rain and snow around here. I'd never imagine getting all giddy at the sight of snow, but then, what can you say about a West Coast girl like me (who lived most of her life in a snow-free climate) living in the middle of a winter wonderland?

So for now, I'm going to try as best I can to update my portfolio, as soon as I can get the scanner up and running again. There's a bunch more material I gotta add that needs to see the light. I'm also planning a few more goodies to add as well, but again as I am also planning fro my wedding, this will take a while.

Bear with me guys, and thanks for stickin' by my side.
