A few reflections as I head to the end of this month...

Turning 25 (my birthday was on the 6th) didn't make me feel at all different, rather... I'm feeling my age. I'm pretty much the same person I always was, just now with acquired knowlege from the past year.

I'm still feeling giddy over the autographed Duncan Sheik merchandise I recently acquired. I got the poster (yeah, after my last post, the next day I got an autographed poster as well), lyric book and photo framed for preservation purposes. Those autographs mean a lot, y'know?

In a few days I'm flying down to Costa Rica with Joe and his parents. I plan to spend the vacation time I have to enjoy the atmosphere, check out as many coffee plants as I can, take tons of pictures, and quietly reflect on my life thus far. My life could use some self-evaluation.

Life can only go forward (and hopefully get better) at this point.

Here's the evidence, as I promised:

Yeah, I purchased these, but then again the autographs are just priceless. So worth it.

I am complete shock. COMPLETE shock. Why, you ask?

How does an autographed photo of Duncan Sheik sound?

That's right... Duncan Sheik.

Long story short... weeks and weeks ago I was perusing through his website and decided to buy some fan goodies (lyric book, shirt, photo). Though I placed the order, I didn't hear anything from the online store I bought it from. I figured it didn't go through and I'd get diddly squat or whatever. Imagine my surprise when I came home from work today to find two packages addressed to me... and inside were the items I ordered what seems like eons ago--autographed by Duncan himself!

(Place reaction of screaming, incessant babbling, and jumping up and down here.)

I never would have expected my stuff to be signed (except the shirt), but this just made my day rock!

Duncan, if you just happened to stumble onto this blog and read this, I would like to say--
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you ^_^

If you don't believe me, wait till I get the scans in...

Now excuse me while I go and faint with giddiness.
